It's the 1st annual Chili and Chowder Cook Off with the Gaylordsville Volunteer Fire Department. Friends of the Lake

Friends of the Lake are having our 7th annual Save the Lake Day on Lake Lillinonah on Saturday May 22nd from 9AM to 1PM. 

The event will be located at the Route 133 State Boat Launch in Bridgewater where teams of volunteers will be sent out to clean different areas of Lake Lillinonah.

Newcomers/Neighbors Club of Brookfield

Newcomers and Neighbors Club of Brookfield is sponsoring the 21st annual Bunny Breakfast to benefit the Brookfield Community and offer Scholarships for Continuing Education!  It will happen on Saturday March 27, 2010 from 8:30 am-12:00 noon.... Breakfast served until 11:00am (pancakes, eggs, sausage, fruit juice, coffee, tea) -- Will all take place at the Brookfield High School Cafeteria, 45 Long Meadow Hill Road in Brookfield. 

over 70 Raffle Baskets including prizes such as:  Wii system, Blue Ray DVD player, 200 gallons of heating oil, gift certificates to restaurants, salons and spas and many more - There is also a vendor Fair and Bake Sale, Games and Activities for the Kids

$7.00 for adults and $4.00 for Children and Tickets are available at the door
